Friends of St Mary’s (FOSM) is the PTA for Rothwell St Mary’s school. Through a variety of events and activities, FOSM raises funds which are the then used to contribute to the school facilities and children’s learning environment. It also provides a great community that brings parents, friends and staff together socially in support of the school and your children. All parents of children at Rothwell St Mary’s school automatically become members of the association, and we welcome everyone to get involved where they can.

How to Get Involved?

There are some really easy ways for you to get involved with Friends of St Mary’s

Shopping – Every time you shop online with any of 2,700 retailers, including Amazon, John Lewis, and Argos, you can raise money for Friends of St Mary’s. Just visit the easyfundraising site here, and click ‘Shop Online’ to find your preferred retailer. It only takes a few seconds and is a great way to easily contribute to FOSM. Just remember to put things in your basket after you’ve clicked the link!

Match Funding – Do you work for a large company that offers match funding? If so, please get in touch as this is a great way for you to help raise funds – each year we usually raise at least £1,500 from just 2 or 3 parents.

Fundraising Events – Friends of St Mary’s run lots of events throughout the year including discos, cinemas nights and fairs, so if you can spare an hour or two occasionally please get in touch.

Meetings – We meet monthly to discuss fundraising events and look at new ways to raise money, all of which gets put back into the school and your children. Please get in touch for details of the next meeting.
